Two Moms of eight fabulous kids, 4 each, ranging in age from 20-31. 4 girls and 4 boys.

Beppie and Jean have served on different international, national, state and local boards, elected positions, appointed positions, school boards, civic boards, college boards and a host of other things that Moms across the country do...we've baked the cookies, run the school fairs, volunteered in the classrooms, driven the carpools.

We and our husbands are all college graduates and that was always the assumption we made when raising our children. Our kids have attended (or attending) a range of schools across the country including: Bates College, Colorado College, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Yale University. We're now at the point where some have lived overseas working or studying, have jobs, have changed jobs, are entrepreneurs, completed graduate school and one is even married.

So there's always stuff to talk about...the parenting continues!

Parenting Gen Y (born between 1979-2000):  What does that mean?  What's it like? How do we "parent?" The significant events in their lives have been:  September 11, the election of President Obama, the economy, technology, social media...a generation of "everyone's a winner"...these millennials...  Advice, thoughts, challenges, parenting...letting go!  Really?!? How do we help launch them?
